I've seen one run a 12.4 on pump gas, and the guy said he had $1500 or less in it. I drive a stock '90TT, and he told me the first thing to change is the flywheel, as the stock flywheel is something like 22 lbs, and I could go all the way down to about an 11 pounder. He told me he can run a 12.2 on race gas. There's my 2 cents..
